The income of a spray plane depends on which type of customer we are talking about. We have two types of customers. Those customers that buy a plane for their own farm to realize a saving by having their own plane. The other group have spray companies in countries where they can spray commercially. The aircraft sprays at the rate of 2.5 Hectares per min. or 6 acres per min. Your profit depends on the number of planes you have spraying daily, and how many people you employ. W e do know our SST2000 (that is our twin) spraying Sugar Cane 6 hours daily brings in about $1200.00 US$ daily. And we know if you have the work, there are 200 plus days a year you can spray. We have had planes spraying bananas and Plantain bring in $1,500 a day and Bananas and Plantain require spraying every 28 days year round. This gives a yearly gross income of up to $300,000 dollars. This would also yield about 40% gross margin which translates to $120,000 Profit per year. We actually expect about $70,000 profit per year per plane.

So it is feasible you could recover your investment in an aircraft in 1 year, not to bad! It will take about another year to pay off the support truck taxes and interest. We also encourage professional operators to have more than one plane.
